Wasabi...for sashimi and soba : Story
Do you know wasabi? It is a one of hottest spies in the world. I have seen wasabi challenger ate it, then they were had a critical damage, in YouTube. But, actually by such a too hot spies, Japanese people have used, and let be many food to delicious. Then, in this article, I introduce about wasabi.
What is wasabi?
First of all, I think you should know about wasabi. So, I will explain about outline of wasabi.Wasabi is a originally in plant. And wasabi is grated, and will be like paste, then be usable. And The future of wasabi is too hot that is different taste of red pepper. I think red pepper is effective to mouth or tongue, but wasabi effect to nose.
When does wasabi use?
Wasabi is to hot spies, but in Japanese food, wasabi is contained many dish. So I introduce you, when wasabi is used.
sushi
Sushi is containing a bit wasabi in usual. Most of hand-rolled sushi is containing it. Usually wasabi put in a very little fish and rice.By the way, if you will afraid at containing wasabi, you can eat no wasabi sushi. And if you world want to eat without wasabi, by saying "sabi-nuki", you can eat sushi without wasabi.
sashimi
Sashimi is typical use in wasabi. Eating sashimi, usually sashimi is dipped on soy sauce. And,the soy sauce is containing a bit wasabi. And the point of eating tasty is using wasabi a little. So if you would put on many wasabi on soy sauce, you will have big damage. You should use a bit.kaisen don
Kaisen don is popular food in Japan. The kaisen don is rice with sashimi in a ball, like katsudon, and sashimis on the rice. Then when using wasabi, you eat sashimi from the ball. You should use a bit.soba
Eating soba, that is not hot but cold, like zaru soba, is delicious containing with a bit wasabi.The direction is cold soba is take a soba, and dip into the tsuyu then eat. And containing wasabi a bit, wasabi's tuyu will have good fragrance.
